We’d like to introduce to you The Bolt Hole, a delightful retreat for 2 in a great location on the edge of the Lake District.
Situated in a quiet part of Kendal, with it’s great restaurants, shops and pubs. Kendal is a favorite for foodies, walkers, romantics and the good life in general. Art Galleries, museums, theatre and cinema all within walking distance. Eight miles from Windermere and 2 miles from Oxenholme Station, only 2 and 3/4 hours by train from London Euston.
Eight miles from M6 junction 36 and a hours drive from the Scottish Border, what more could you want!

The Bolt Hole has a private gated entrance onto the car park with it’s own parking space. It is available for self-catering accommodation for 3 nights or more. The property consists of a double en-suite bedroom with 5′ wide bed, plus separate bathroom with bath and shower, A modern kitchen and light airy lounge with French doors onto a private sitting out terrace. We will be including a hamper with tasty treats for a simple breakfast to start your break.
